A native of California's picturesque flower-growing Lompoc Valley.

The silk-dying and wax-resist technique, known as "batik", first captured her creative mind in the '60's.

Introduced to "serti" (a silk painting technique using gutta resist) in the '90's, Georgia soon developed her own style.

Now using only the finest China (habutai), she combines batik and serti to portray her visions of flora and fauna, achieving unique effects.
